Mike: I must confess that my first thought was "Ho hum, another blog..." and I didn't bother to look at it. But...
I just took a look and I'm rather impressed. Now I'm looking forward to watching the site develop!

Okay it's time to ignore every link published so far. The site now has it's own domain which is
http://www.stationspast.net
But be patient - the DNS is still propagating (or something) but should be sorted in a couple of hours
Some plug-ins are doing some good things in the engine room of the site, and the RSS feed is now working - which is not a default outcome the way the site is set up. What we're doing here is using the excellent blog software 'Wordpress' behave as a content management system. This is done by creating lots and lots of pages (one for each station) instead of posts as you would in a blog. Normally wordpress won't feed pages, but a little plugin has sorted that, which means you can subscribe to the site and be alerted when the new pages are posted.
We are on our third line now, Rockbank to Ballarat, and there are some phwwoooarrworthy photos coming off Trainsex's scanner.
Special mention to Fatty for the basic software install, and the propagation thingy

All good - site rendered about 10 minutes after the above post.
Okay I've trawled through it and fixed the internal links, the mappress API key, and the image rotator, so it all should be working properly. Lettuce know if you find a broken link. It will take you to a page that screams: "It Works!" where clearly it does not
