As for converting the 48's the MR tanks could be laid longtitudinally in the nose if you do away with the loo. The air brake rack could be relocated to the footplate on the #2's side and entry gained via the Driver's long end door A'la existing PL's... If they'd consider doing that to the 48's the crew's up north would be very happy. At least then you can actually see your Driver, although then he'll know when you catch a few zzz'sCool

Howdee KR,
Do the PLs have a loo? I was always lead to believe they didn't have one anyway?
Unless I am reading this wrong, which after three Tanduays is highly likely.

Rob,

I see the humourous side to your comment, but if you are on the up, as you now know you have to advise UH2 of arrival as in that 45mins he can send one across from the Creek. However, North would know as well and would have told you about that.

It's amazing how close they sit together, yet can't convey messages to each other.

Your correct Brad the PL's dont have a loo. Its surprising cause they used to be restricted to metro only because of this. When on the Pelton run there has to be a 48 purily for the toilet. Pitty the crew transferring them from Inner Harbour back to Port Waratah. Long way to cross your legs!!

Have heard plenty of stories of how they got around it on the electrics.
One mate was hanging out of a 46 to have, aahhmmmmm, #2s, but he timed it badly and they past through a rather crowded Point Clare station. He got a severe spanking from his bosses :-)

For any dribbly foamer types out and about...
K206 is going back on the Mannway and RSR services from Tuesday night again, between Leightonfield and Botany.
Actually had an engine that worked today...442s2...but after a brief respite of something that gets you there and back it is back to the EE madness.
So any gunzels photographing or videoing in the next few days I shall be sure to wave at Belfield or other drool spots,
while pottering by on the Mannway train in the morning.
Or, perhaps, expose my overly hairy arse, to enhance said photos or videos.
Cheers.
Davo.
With all the rumours about these days, it might not be too long, before there is one of those big silver/grey vibrator looking things on those services....
Amid all the crap, it is a welcome pustule of truth bursting forth.

Well, as they say, "normal" is just a setting on a dryer. So if you stick enough people in a laundry room, someone is bound to want to violate that dryer.

I beleive yesterday 2 x GL class were to haul a 16 car V Set (one of those Spark things that gives Jacob a raging throsby) from Broady to Wyong yesterday.
No doubt due to the floods up north.
