Good gunzel spots

I'm going to (somehow) fit what you suggested and cable tram remnant hunting together. I won't be able to visit all the places, but I should still have fun gunzeling. Preston works and Southbank depot sound like great ideas. What streets are these on?

How long's the train? About 7 or 8 cars

Re entry to Preston Works: Might I need a security pass to access it? I assume I will.

Make sure you apply for this:

It's free!

Latrobe street bridge not far from Southern Cross station is pretty good and so is NOrth Melbourne station's new station building. I prefer not to hang around DYnon, it's not safe anymore and it's not really legal

Thanks for that. I had a look just now. It doesn't look close to the station, but I'll check again tomorrow.

Hi all,
Back from Melbourne now. I didn't get to the places posted by Chicken Fish. I saw Cable Tram 1 though.
