Heritage Express Trains

At lunch time a Hertiage Express weekend tour departed from Central behind 4490 & 44211. The tour is to Temora via Parkes and to Canberra.
While bringing the empty cars in from Thirlmere 4520 suffered a fire in the loco cab. 4520 was detached and stowed at Campbelltown.

Last saturday, 14th, a Dining Car train was operated to Moss Vale. This was a relatively short train. There seems to be anecdotal evidence that many of the tickets were sold at a steep discount. Locomotives were 4520 and "What a Nuisance" (FL220).
