UK rail scene.
Northern England rail operator Northern Rail have recently introduced loco-hauled workings along the Cumbrian Coast from Carlisle to Barrow and Preston.  They hire the locomotives and coaches from Direct Rail Services (DRS). DRS are known for being run by enthusiasts, and have recently been repainting some of their Class 37 locomotives into heritage British Rail large logo livery.

At Carlisle today, during my break, I captured two of these locos.  There was a loco change between 37401 and 37402.  Sun was wrong, but it's always worth a capture as these locos won't be around for ever.

I then drove Electric Multiple Unit 350405 from Carlisle to Manchester Airport
