SDSR are running the trip as above (Toowoomba - Wallangarra - Toowoomba) using their steam loco, 971. What QR steamer are you talking about?

Where did that water wagon come from? It's not their usual one.

Must be a QR endorsed water wagon for the 150th trips. The regular water wagon watched on from over in the precinct.
Noticed the DH was occupying one of the shed roads.

SDSR got 2 carriages and a water gin and I believe also a HSAH wagon of coal from QRH. This trip was part of the Rail 150 Celebrations and so is the Gundy trip. Carriages were BL 575 and BL 771 from memory. Basically like the Q150 trip SDSR did to Gundy in 2009 a bit of team work between QR and SDSR. SDSR run the tour with help of QR.

Thanks Hugh.
There were a string of those covered-in general freight wagons in the goods yard too. Along with a sign that Aurizon has withdrawn from the Warwick freight distribution centre. ie

Thanks for that Graham.
Caught up with the DH on the evening trip to Clifton:

Lovely sunset. The locals told me the weather had been atrocious with heavy rain and wind squalls but certainly held off for that evening. There's a timelapse of the fading sky that starts at 3:50.
