C17 971 Steams Again
On Wednesday 14th March, 2007, SDSR created a little bit of history. After 10 years of hard work and dedication, today we saw C17 971 make her first move under steam since 1969.

I agree. And its nice to see some original colouring instead of that purple / blue trash that the other crowd
vandalised painted that other C17 with....
Its a most impressive outcome - obviously a lot of dedicated and committed people. Now all they need is a nice vintage diesel of some sort to compliment their operations!

I think 1200 or 1225 or an old "yank" would go a treat up that way - how about an 1170 class Paw Paw?
